you can't help but smile when you visit park güell. it is one of those places, so unique and breathtaking in appearance, that you just want to stay and soak it up for as long as possible. i spent one sunny november afternoon wandering around the park and admiring the brilliance of gaudi. the way he was able to combine raw earthly elements with rainbow coloured mosaic tiles to create this wonderland of peace, calm and happiness is inspiring. the view from the main terrace is another reason to visit the park, you can see a panorama of the barcelona city and out to the coast as well as the sagrada familia and montjuic area. barcelona is an amazing city and i have so much more to share with you.
